I saw good reviews of the Boathouse Cafe and tried it for breakfast. I had the locally sourced Duma Meat country fried steak with gravy, home fries, scrambled eggs and rye toast. It was actually an inch thick steak. I am used to chopped steak. It was good. I really enjoyed the Pearl Coffee which is located in Akron. My experience was very good and will be back to try some other breakfast dishes.

I was too hungry to take food pics, but LOVED the breakfast tacos with a side of hollendaise, and hubby loved his steak & eggs. Our server was just a doll in her festive 'fit! I would've rated a 5 for service, except 2 of my "customizations" & a request for water got forgotten/ ignored. 🥰

First time there. Super cute loved the decore. The staff was friendly and great. The food was really good. We chose the fruit plate. The breakfast tacos 🌮. And hasg browns. And cubed potatoes. Everything came out hot! The portio s were big. We left happy and full! Loved that the chef came out and asked us how it was he was super friendly

Decided to try this spot based on recommendations. It did not disappoint! Wonderful breakfast menu which we took advantage of. Prices are good, portions were nice and we left very full. I will definitely be back to try some different things. Cook clearly enjoys what he does and took care to make sure everything looked and tasted great! My friend was excited to try the shrimp and grits as you can't get that everywhere. He loved it! Thank you for a great experience!!

Although the location is out of the way and the outside plaza is unassuming, the boathouse cafe is a great brunch spot. The lighting is fantastic. It provides for a great ambience and amazing photos. Additionally, the decorations and theme are consistent and add a nice visual appeal to the place. It is small, but comfortable. The biggest draw of the place is how visually appealing it is inside. However, the food is quite good too. I have come for brunch on several occasions and have found the crepes and waffles to be my favorites. A great date spot or place to bring family or friends

We came in for breakfast on Valentine's Day. We had an amazing server named Riley! She was awesome, very kind and attentive. We got the boathouse charcuterie board and some mimosas as mocktails. They don't typically do non alcoholic but Riley made them with seltzer water. Great drinks, amazing service, fantastic food. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food and excellent service (thank you Omari)! Highly recommended. The avocado bowl was fresh and flavorful. The pancake was sooo good a d sausage links incredibly flavorful. Overall, an excellent experience and we will be back.

This place was good. Our server was cool and super nice. The food was bomb. Some of the best home fries I’ve had. Hollandaise was weirdly cheesy like someone else said but my bf really liked it.

Went here for brunch after my husband found it on a local TikTok food search while we were in the Akron area. The restaurant was lovely inside. It's not a large place and it's not small. Definitely "quaint". I ordered the Avocado Bowl which was very good. The portion size was perfect. My husband ordered the Turkey Sandwich and added a fried egg. We both agreed the food was great and if we didn't live 40+ minutes away, we would eat there frequently. Service is 4 stars because we ordered a Pancake to split with no toppings. The pancakes smelled delicious when we walked in. Because it was a bit of a wait to get our food after we ordered, we didn't want to wait any additional time for the pancake so we didn't say anything. It wasn't on the bill so it looks like it was forgotten when our order was put into the system.
